Scassa fastest in wet conditions again

019_t04_scassa_boxLuca Scassa (Yamaha ParkinGO) pushed on to set the fastest time in the first Supersport World Championship test session of the final day at Portimao, with a 1'57.123 lap. The track was wet to start and remained so after overnight rain.

Behind Scassa was the Provec Motocard.com Kawasaki of David Salom, then the Parkalgar Honda of Sam Lowes, a new star in this class of racing. Broc Parkes, Salom's team-mate, posted the fourth best time, with the leading quartet covered by only 0.392 seconds.

Sixteen riders ventured out on the wet surface, in total. One more WSS session remains, this afternoon at 12.40.
