This year the BBC brings more coverage than ever before with 18 rounds of live action, and once again offering coverage of qualifying, 125cc and Moto2 on the Red Button and online.

With an impressive sport broadcasting pedigree spanning 12 years in front of the camera, Jennie Gow has most recently worked as a presenter for Sky Sports. Her credits include presenting the Jersey Rally, ThunderSport GB bike series, Motocross and Speedway as well as co-commentating on Speedway and World Longtrack Championships. She has also covered other sports and presented for radio. Mark Wilkin, the BBC's MotoGP Editor, says: "We're really pleased to welcome Jennie on board. Her knowledge and on-screen experience will make her a strong addition to the team and together we are looking forward to delivering another great MotoGP season for the viewers."

Jennie Gow says: "I'm really excited to be joining the BBC team to cover MotoGP. I've always been a big fan of the sport and I can't wait for the season to begin so I can bring my own passion, enthusiasm and energy to the mix. The BBC's coverage has always been exceptional and I'm really looking forward to being part of it." Matt Roberts will again be reporting on all the live action from the pit lane, with expert commentary coming from Charlie Cox and former racer Steve Parrish. In addition to the main race, the team will cover the pre-race build-up, bringing viewers interviews with the riders and their teams, and all the latest news and updates.

Races will be shown live on television with European rounds having an extended 30-minute build-up on BBC Two and a 30-minute MotoGP Extra after the race available on the Red Button, bringing the immediate reaction from the experts and the riders themselves. This is with the exception of Assen (26 June) which will be shown live on the Red Button and online. Live qualifying coverage of the 2010 MotoGP season, including the 125cc and Moto2 races, will be available to view on the BBC Red Button and BBC online: bbc.co.uk/motorbikes (UK users only). Online viewers will also be able to use the website to access the full MotoGP schedule and all the latest news from on and off the track.

Live MotoGP races will be available to watch on bbc.co.uk/iplayer for seven days after each race.
