You will still get from A to B more effectively than any four wheel driver. And you’ll reach your destination much more smoothly if you follow our ABC...

A – Anticipate other road user’s actions and allow for occasional idiots.
B – Be alert and on the lookout, especially at junctions and roundabouts
C – Curb your speed in wet or icy conditions. Always be ready to brake.
D – Drive on opposite side of lane if turning left/right for a better view.
E – Evaluate before you overtake. Look for hazards.
F – Focus on keeping your cool if a driver winds you up. Don’t race.
G – Glance over your shoulder (commonly called a "lifesaver") at those moments when you need to be fully aware of your surroundings.
H – Headlights dipped in daylight conditions will give you added visibility.

We could go on. Perhaps ‘I’ could be your new mantra. Now repeat daily,
